One to One or Group Workshops?

Whatever support is needed MMA can provide outplacement programmes UK wide. Each programme is tailor-made to meet the needs of both the organization and the client(s).

1:1 Programmes

One to one programmes are usually designed around a set number of hours of support from an MMA career consultant. This could be 3, 6, 10 or 20 hour programmes. Open ended 1:1 programmes are also available if required.

The programmes normally start with a diagnostic session to identify the specific support needs of the individual client. This would be followed by a report from our career consultant giving support recommendations for approval by the sponsoring organization. Following approval monthly progress reports are provided to sponsors, giving an overview of what has been covered and hours used whilst ensuring the confidentiality of the client v consultant relationship is maintained.

Possible usage of a 10 hour programme could involve:

To support the service given by our experienced career consultants, MMA also provides clients with access to the latest in web-based career management system tools. F4C is a comprehensive system that enables clients to:

Manage their career campaign
Search over 100 of the most popular job sites on the web
Create and distribute CVs designed for specific opportunities
Generate cover letters and other types of correspondence
Automatically apply for job openings
Easily manage and track job advertisements
Track CVs and cover letters sent to potential employers
Know when a CV has been viewed by potential employers

Review frequently asked questions and ask their own career related questions

Group Workshops

Focus4ward job search workshops are designed for up to 10 participants. The workshops can be of 1 or 2 days duration. A workshop manual for each participant is supplied by MMA. A typical 1 day workshop sample agenda could include:

Psychometric Assessments

How can psychometric assessments help?

Change can be frightening, especially if forced into it but, for people at a career crossroads, it can be an opportunity to look at other options. Psychometric testing can help identify new roles for people and give them the confidence to something which is perhaps better suited to their present situation. It can also be useful in helping people to decide that perhaps it is better to stay in their current role.

F4C, our web-based career management system, has a series of assessments that enables clients to reflect on their motivations, behaviour, values, strengths and preferences that are important when considering their next career move.

Our team of occupational psychologists and BPS accredited consultants are also available to provide support as necessary.

MMA Expertise

Whether as an individual or an organization it is important to be confident in the reputation and professionalism of any provider. The British Psychological Society sets standards for the validation of tests and to ensure that they are carried out by qualified practitioners. MMA employs qualified Occupational Psychologists and BPS accredited consultants to run a wide range of assessments.
